Our mission
We believe in transparency, integrity, and a commitment to delivering results for our clients.
Debbie Ohiri is a dynamic Nigerian artiste whose work beautifully weaves together music, theatre, and cultural preservation. Born and raised in the vibrant Ilaje community of Bariga, Lagos, Debbie grew up surrounded by the sounds of traditional folk music, church rhythms, and storytelling, a foundation that continues to shape her unique voice and artistic expression. The daughter of the legendary guitarist Bob Ohiri, Debbie’s love for music and the performing arts was sparked early. Her journey led her to formal training at the prestigious MUSON School of Music, where she honed her skills in voice, performance, and music direction. Over the past two decades, Debbie has become a celebrated figure in Lagos’ creative scene as a singer, actress, vocal coach, choreographer, and cultural educator. Her work spans across film, television, theatre, and live music, with standout performances in Netflix hits such as Elesin Oba, Blood Sisters, Castle & Castle, The Griot, and Aníkúlápó. Her powerful voice and emotional depth also shine through in soundtracks and musical storytelling. Debbie is a proud member of the internationally acclaimed all-women performance ensemble “Hear Word!”, with whom she has toured the world performing stories of Nigerian women’s strength and resilience. Her first international performance took place in 2011 in Bavaria, Germany, with the folk theatre production Ajigbe: The Face Behind the Mask, marking the beginning of her global impact. A passionate advocate for Yoruba folk music and heritage, Debbie continues to lead folk music workshops at festivals and community spaces, including the Lagos Fringe Festival at Freedom Park. Through her teaching, she is helping a new generation reconnect with the power, rhythm, and beauty of their roots. Debbie’s artistry is more than performance, it is preservation, celebration, and transformation. Whether she’s leading a choir, anchoring a traditional event, performing on stage, or coaching voices behind the scenes, she carries with her a deep sense of purpose: to restore value to our culture and inspire people through the power of music and story.
